It's Just One of Those Days....

Ever get those days when you should've said... "I'll do it tomorrow instead" ... well I wish I had said it... today I am not having a good day with technology.... for one... I AM SO STATIC.. I actually got an electric shock from a bit of paper today.. yes... a bit of paper... that alone should've told me to leave things til tomorrow.... next was a door handle... so really should I be even attempting to even think about updating our new website.... hmm.. what do you think... NO WAY.. well I did try.. and 4 reinstalls of DreamWeaver later... and a CD now enjoying it's new life as a frizbee - it works.. but I should've left it alone!

I would at this point, like to say thank you to my friend Nick, my technology buster...

Maybe tomorrow will be better..... :)

I do wonder sometimes whether courier companies are in a different time zone to everyone else.. or whether really they just do it to be awkward! After placing my order and told it would come next day in the afternoon.... what time do they class afernoon I wonder? Call me picky... but really.. is 9:30am really in the afternoon these days?

Still.. the bits are here.. and now I have more stuff to find homes for... Neon balloons.. and numbers.... for the weekend...

I suppose I should think about tidying the office/workshop ready for the weekend's work... I will let you know once the thinking is over... :)

New Year...

Well... here we are in 2010... I have a workshop full of balloons, and office full of paper and invoices... I have slipped on my first resolution of the year to work more tidier.. but... hey... isnt a tidy mind a sign of a .. erm.. not well mind.. besides.. creative people are not tidy.. YEP YOU HEARD.. CREATIVE PEOPLE ARE NOT TIDY.. I am chanting this in hope that I convince Paul.. and me come to that.. and hope that if ever I get burgled the burglar will think that someone pipped him to the post and got there first... see .. there is a reason why things are not as tidy as they should be....I know exactly where things are when things are messy.. yes indeedy.. the thingy that I was looking for is over there somewhere... in that area... and that dooodah thing is over there....yes I can just about see it behind the other things poking up there....... let the creativity begin......
